During the event, Pedro Gutierrez, CoinEx’s LATAM Director, gave a talk titled “Crypto Exchanges in Latam: Qualities, Challenges, and Perspectives in the Context of Organizations’ Adoption“, discussing the challenges faced by exchanges in the region, from regulation to cryptocurrency adoption, and their importance in promoting financial inclusion.

Furthermore, Pedro Gutierrez emphasized how CoinEx is strongly committed to education in cryptocurrencies and blockchain, reaching out to academic institutions to offer educational programs that promote the adoption of the crypto ecosystem throughout Latin America.

“Our goal is to equip new generations with the necessary tools to understand and leverage the potential of cryptocurrencies,” he commented. As part of this commitment, CoinEx has already successfully implemented university courses in Colombia and is currently replicating this initiative in Argentina, training hundreds of students in the use of blockchain and digital assets.”
